Mansfield Township spans twenty-two square miles of largely agricultural land in the north of Burlington County, with Columbus as its centre and the New Jersey Turnpike running through it. The township holds an unusual concentration of one particular housing type: Homestead, a retirement village of some 1,200 homes in Columbus.
